Progress! Flight booked for December 10. New job December 18. Yeah!

Okay, so most of the time I'm excited about my upcoming venture. New people, new places, the sun, the sand and the ocean. And then, Wham! Menacing dialogues run through my head, rendering me panic-stricken, "what the hell are you doing?, you won't know anyone!, you will be leaving every comfort zone you have ever created for yourself!" . . . eh, whatever. That's what traveling is all about, right?

That aside, I've been busy doing other things while waiting for confirmation of my start date in Australia. I've been internet searching for a good deal on a laptop, I have purchased some luggage (a very LARGE piece of luggage) and am currently preparing for my mini vacation to MEXICO with the fam! A dry run, if you will, before the real adventure.

Departing November 20 and returning home November 27. Should be a blast!

Registration confirmed! What a flippin nightmare! Tentative date of departure December 10. But first, Mexico for a week. Yeah!
