Not much doing lately in Sydney but wanted to give everyone a quick update if you're still following along. Mostly laying low. I've got 3 more weeks of work left and then head off to Bangkok on June 11.

Had an interesting day at a Korean Spa, a 30th birthday gift from my thoughtful friend Joel. The only thing - nudity is a pre-requisite. Sounds alright, you're in a bath with a bunch of naked people. It's the whole walking around and getting your treatments while you're naked that is a little disconcerting, but I soon got over it. You walk into this big room naked after gingerly taking off your robe to leave it behind. You then need to shower and the showers are set up all around the baths. There was a ginseng bath, hot tub bath and cold bath. So, you have your shower in view of others and then you head into the bath of your choice. They call you for your treatments by number at which time you head off in all your glory to the treatment area. At this point, you are still naked and continue to remain naked throughout the treatment. Liberating I guess. There's at least 5 other women around you also having their treatments, all of varying weights and sizes. It's at this point that it becomes less of a big deal. I was treated to a full body scrub, korean facial and massage and a shiatsu massage to complete the day. An experience adding to the well-roundedness of my everchanging personality.

I look forward to delving into and experiencing new cultures. I also look forward to seeing friends and family at home, especially my new baby nephew Kai. I've even had dreams about it. Hope everyone is well.
